WHAT DO BUSH AND PUTIN HAVE IN COMMON?

Apparently not a lot. Something does not make sense in this new war of words and accusations beyween the U.S. and Russia. It seems that just a short while ago, Bush and Putin were good buddies, chowing down on steaks in Texas. Now, they are like two "tom cats" surrounded by females in heat. Just prior tp the G8 meeting, Bush slings all kinds of charges at Putin. This makes no sense. Is it at all possible that this is all for show? Talk of a new 'cold war' is diverting attention from things like climate change, rising oil prices, the problems in Iraq and Iran. Is it possible that all of this new rhetoric is a ploy between good friends to change the world's focus from other pressing issues? Just a thought. I will revisit this after the G8 meeting.
